I know someone who feels they are not very good at serving others. Particularity the person this person is spending their life with. One of my giftings is servant. What can someone do to build serving in their own life? What makes someone a better servant?

If I'm not mistaken, if you're
serving, you're denying. You're
deniying your own desires to help
or serve others. That can be extremely difficult to a selfish
person. I'm guilt of being selfish.
I know I could be a better servant
if it wasn't for TV, or something
else getting in the way.

Some of it...no, let me say ALL of it has to do with 1) wanting to please God more than yourself, and 2) intentionality. In order to allow God to make that kind of change (and it is absolutely and God thing...you can not discipline yourself to make this kind of change...and I speak from personal experience) you must wake up each morning with "Be Available" at the top of your to do list.
